FAQ

Training, answered.

Quick answers about how to train, what to buy first and how to scale.

How often should I train with this equipment?+

Most players see results from 3–4 short focused sessions per week (20–40 minutes) on top of team training. Quality of reps beats total hours every time.

Agility ladder or speed hurdles — which first?+

Start with a ladder. It builds the foot-speed and coordination base. Add hurdles once you want to layer in knee drive and plyometric work.

How many cones do I actually need?+

20 markers cover almost every solo session. Step up to 50 once you're running team drills or larger shaped exercises like grids and rondos.

What size rebounder should I get?+

A 1m × 1m frame is the sweet spot for solo first-touch and passing work. Larger frames are better for finishing reps and team use.

Should I train with a weighted ball?+

Yes — once a week, not every session. Weighted balls exaggerate poor technique and build cushioning, but overuse can slow your normal touch.

Is this equipment safe for juniors?+

Yes. Bands, cones, mini goals and lightweight balls are all junior-appropriate. Start light, prioritise technique and add intensity only as the player grows.

Do I really need recovery equipment?+

If you train 3+ times a week, yes. Rollers, bands and basic mobility work cut soreness and reduce injury risk — they're as important as the speed work itself.
